“The trick is to be complex, not complicated.”
At Aquantec, Jonathan Kelly is responsible for software architecture and the design of technical and business components. He holds a Master of Arts in Computer Science and Management Studies from the University of Cambridge.
Before founding Aquantec, he worked as a financial engineer and trader at Bayerische Vereinsbank and subsequently as a software consultant for HypoVereinsbank and UniCredit. There, his work focused, among other things, on interest rate, equity, and inflation products, as well as on translating complex business requirements into robust software systems.
His philosophy: Architecture must be able to accommodate business complexity without becoming complicated itself.
